Message from the Board of Directors 2 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2026 | Sincerely, and on behalf of your Board of Directors, Cliff Post, Mary Reyna, Dan Ramos, Barbra Balser, Paul Barr, and Pam Hayter Cliff Post, President Dear Neighbors, November has arrived, bringing cooler days, changing seasons, and one of my favorite traditions of the year—Thanksgiving. It is a time when we pause from our busy schedules and remind ourselves of the many things we have to be thankful for. One of the things I am especially thankful for is the wonderful community we have created together. A neighborhood is more than houses and landscaping. It is the neighbors who wave as we pass, the friends we meet at community activities, the volunteers who generously give their time, and the people who are always willing to lend a helping hand. As your Board President, I am also thankful for everyone who contributes to making our community a great place to live. Whether you serve on a committee, attend an activity, help at an event, or simply look out for a neighbor, your participation makes a difference. November is also a good time to look ahead. The Board continues working to maintain our community, manage our resources responsibly, and plan for the future. Some of this work happens quietly behind the scenes, but it is important to keeping our community attractive, financially responsible, and enjoyable for all of us. And, of course, Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without food. In our community, the holiday spirit seems to come with an unofficial rule: Calories consumed while visiting with friends don't count. At least that's what I'm told! So this November, take time to enjoy your neighbors, attend a community activity, make a new friend, and appreciate the many good things around us. From your HOA Board, thank you for being part of our community. We wish you and your families a happy, healthy, and very enjoyable Thanksgiving. Supervisor's Message By Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez November is Caregiver Appreciation Month. This is a special time to recognize the dedication of those who attend to the needs of our older adults and residents with disabilities. In the spirit of the occasion, the Riverside County IHSS Public Authority is having a Caregiver Appreciation Event, at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center, to recognize our valued in-home supportive services caregivers. These individuals change the lives of many by offering a helping hand. I will proudly present a proclamation on behalf of the Board of Supervisors, honoring our valued caregivers. If you or someone you know is in need of in-home supportive services, you can contact IHSS at https://riversideihss.org/ or call (888) 960-4477 (between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday). November — A Time for Gratitude, Community, and a Little Extra Pie
