Your community is more than just the place you call home — it is a community built by the people who live here. One of the best ways to help shape your community and contribute to its continued success is by volunteering your time to serve on a committee. Your committees provide valuable input, ideas, and recommendations that help support your community and enhance the experience of living here. Which Committee Is Right for You? We have a variety of committees, each with a different purpose and opportunity to contribute: • Financial Advisory Committee — Provides insight and recommendations regarding financial matters and helps promote responsible stewardship of your community's resources. • Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee — Helps your community prepare for emergencies and promotes awareness of safety, preparedness, and resources available to homeowners. • Communication Advisory Committee — Helps explore ways to keep our residents informed, connected, and engaged through e View Magazine and website with what is happening within the community. • Recreation Advisory Committee — Helps support and promote recreational activities, programs, and opportunities that bring your residents together. • Design Review Committee — Reviews homeowner requests and helps maintain the community's established design standards and appearance. • Welcome Committee — Helps new homeowners feel welcomed and connected as they become part of your community. These are just some of the ways you can get involved. Each committee has a unique role, and there is an opportunity for everyone to contribute their knowledge, experience, interests, and ideas. What Is the Time Commitment? Each committee meets once a month on a set day during regular business hours. Meetings typically range from 30 minutes to two hours, depending on the committee. You don't need to be an expert. What matters most is your willingness to participate, share your perspective, listen to others, and work together for the benefit of our community. Your Voice Matters Volunteering for a committee is a great way to: • Meet and connect with your neighbors • Share your knowledge, skills, and experience • Learn more about how our community operates • Help identify opportunities for improvement • Have a voice in matters that affect our community • Give back to the place you call home Please consider volunteering your time and talents. Your community benefits when homeowners get involved, ask questions, share ideas, and work together. Be Part of the Solution: Your time matters. Your experience matters. Your ideas matter. If you have ever thought, "Someone should do something about that," perhaps that someone could be you. Please consider joining a committee and becoming part of the solution. Contact the Management Office to learn more about the committees and how you can volunteer. GM Report By Eva Mason, General Manager
