Spanish Class
Line Dancing
Can you believe it is September already? But it is not too late
to try something new. Have you always said "I can't danceā¦
I have two left feet?" Well, you may think that, but chances are
no one ever took the time to teach you one step at a time.
Line dancing begins with a dance that only has 18 steps
repeated throughout. You don't have to coordinate your
movements with a partner and slight variations are the norm.
There is still plenty of time to learn a couple of dances in time
for the upcoming holiday party season.
Besides allowing you to join in the dancing fun, dancing
stimulates the mind, improves balance and coordination, and
strengthens bones. All of these are important as we age. The
best benefit, to my way of thinking, is the opportunity to be
with other people and meet new friends.
Come give it a try or simply watch. Class is every Tuesday
in the Ballroom; beginners 3 to 3:45 pm and advanced 3:45
to 4:30 pm. Any questions? Call (951) 769-3889. ~ Martha
