Counter Culture Cinema Join us at our newly expanded screenings, now on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Our first screening is Sunday, Sept. 8, at 6 pm, featuring "Beginners" (2010, 105 minutes, in English). The Lodge theatre has very limited seating, so if you're interested in our screenings, come early. We hope to see you there! ~ Micki Rosen Toastmasters Interest Group It was a pleasure meeting several folks from the community at the Club/Committee Fair in July. Thanks for taking the time to stop at our booth to talk to one of us. If you haven't already, we are anxiously awaiting your presence at one of our future meetings. Starting in October, we are going to be changing things up a bit, to hopefully, better serve our community. Either once or twice a month different speakers from our Wind Talkers -Toastmasters Chapter, as well as, guest speakers will talk on different topics. We will announce, starting in October's issue of the Breeze, which meeting date/s will be having these specific speeches and what the topics are. We are offering a gentle 'nudge' to those who have an interest in any of our topics to come to a meeting. You will sit and watch how we interact, our procedures, participate (only if you want to), and find yourself enjoying speeches. I believe you will find yourself learning and enjoying your evening, more than you had expected to. Every week we have two or three wonderful speakers and speeches. We know in advance who the speakers are, but not their topic. If you are into 'mystery' or like 'pot luck', you are always welcome to attend any of our weekly meetings. Come to listen to our worldly, active, often funny, and always improving speakers talk on a topic of their choosing. We meet every Wednesday, 6:29 to 7:30 pm in the Conference Room at the Lodge.
