Bocce Ball
We are officially a club. Our monthly meeting is held the third
Wednesday at 2:30 pm in the Lodge. The summer hours for Bocce
Ball continue to be Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 am. We are
happy to report that there was tremendous interest shown at the
Club Fair and as a result our number of players continues to grow.
For those of you that have never played, please join us. Skill is not
a prerequisite, and it is a lot of fun. If you have questions please

Firearm Enthusiasts
The last trip to the High Desert Rod and Gun Club
shooting range was a great success. Many of the
members that couldn't make the trip have requested we
plan another trip.
On Sept. 21, we are going to the HDRGC Range.
Anyone that has an interest in this trip should e-mail
Ron Morgan. Departure from the Lodge will be at 7:30
am. Carpools will be arranged that morning.
Firearm ownership is a very responsible process
of training, safety and familiarity with your firearms.
Take the opportunity to practice at least once a month
to maintain your skill level and familiarity with your
firearms. Remember to save your targets if you want an
evaluation. If you need a shooting partner, check on the
roster and make a call. This is a good way to meet your
fellow enthusiasts.

Horseshoes for Fun
Calling all horseshoe players. We have started a Horseshoes for Fun Group, which will be meeting at the horseshoe pits
every Wednesday at 9:30 am. We will be playing until approximately 10:30 am. Haven't thrown a shoe in years, no problem,
neither have we. Come on out and join us, it's a great way to make new friends and get a little exercise in the fresh air. If you
