Join us for this three hour lecture/
workshop on Nov. 6, 2 to 5 pm, in the
Lodge Ballroom, discussing the topic of
"Using and Abusing the Windows File
System."
We will cover the many facets of the
Windows File System. Definition of
folders and files, file types, file copy, file
move and moving files across external
devices (USB drives, cameras, etc.) will
all be covered and discussed. Bring
your laptop and follow along with the
demonstrations and investigations. The

format will be an 'Interactive Lecture.'
We will ask and answer questions and
promote discussions.
Our next scheduled class is the 'Basic/
Intermediate' class that covers a broad
range of general computer use, including
operating systems, file and program
association, file move and copy, email,
search techniques and Internet usage.
The Basic/Intermediate class will be
held on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12
pm in the Computer Room. This will be
a four week class. Classes will be Oct. 9

please bring it to class.
Classes are FREE so you have nothing
to lose. Classes are first-come, first-serve
basis. Just show up for the first session
at the designated time and location. We
have limited seating/computers available,
but we will try to accommodate as many
as possible.
