The new season is off and running, with
80 bowlers in pursuit of the "Bowler of the
Year" title.
The winter season finished with Sandy
Hepburn, and his three ladies (Alice &
Susie Esquivel, & Pat Sedlacek) as the
first place team. In the singles event,
Keath Naugle, Carolee Matthews, Audrey
Vaughn, Barbara Semic, Susie Esquivel,
Karen Struchen and Alice Esquivel cashed
in the first seven places. Marv Steggell led
the way for the men. The following filling
out the first seven places: Bill McDonald,
Sandy Hepburn, Herb Bearden, Bill
Casaga, Joe Griffin, and Bruce Herwig.
Congratulations to all the bowlers who
made the season a lot of fun.
Since we have recently lost some of our
bowlers, we can only encourage the new
generation that are moving into Sun Lakes
to come out and join a bowling league.
