Friends we will miss William George Doss was born on November 16, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. He entered his eternal life on July 22, 2013, at the veteran's hospital in Loma Linda after a challenging battle with Alzheimer's disease along with other health issues. His carefree youth was in the Brooklyn, NY area. Inducted into the U.S. Army on July 2, 1943, he served in that branch until his honorable discharge on March 29, 1946. He attended college with ambitions of a business degree. He graduated from Rider College in New Jersey with a Bachelor of Service in Commerce on August 18, 1950. He worked at Financial National Bank, National Card Register, Micro's Systems, Sango and Kaiser Permanente. He married Delores Steed on August 11, 1956. This marriage came to an unfortunate close after 26 years due to her early death. Thy had three children, Billy, David and Debbie and three grandsons, Andrew, David and David and two granddaughters, Diane and Jennifer. Bill moved to Sun Lakes in 1990 where he met his present wife Geneva in 1994, they were married June 8, 1996. From this marriage he acquired three stepchildren, Daniel, Linda and Laurie, along with grandchildren Jason, Christy and Danielle. Joining them were Geneva's nine great grandchildren Christine, Hanna, Destiny, Isaiah, Jennifer, Faith, Noah, Gracie and Hunter. He enjoyed his families. His interests were computer, TV, reading, gardening and socializing with family and friends. In his earlier years he spent much time on the golf course. His last 10 days were spent at the Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda. Bill will be remembered and truly missed by those of us who loved him. May he rest in peace. Leo Edward Pedrotty Let us celebrate with honor a man that was so loved. His bravery in the Philippines as a tank commander, it was World War II, the Purple Heart was given and humbly received. This was only the beginning to a life for a man with a dream. For 36 years Supervisory Special Agent FBI, Chicago, a leader from the start in the service of us all. Leo loved his country the red, white and blue. Dignity and courage he had from the start. Married 48 years to his sweet wife Juliet, Leo loved his three children Bill, Mickey and Judy, giving his caregiver son Bill a kiss on the cheek, as he said his final goodbyes. Leo was a good man who cared a great deal. May God's peaceful blessing be guiding you now though it is hard to say goodbye. Leo, you will be missed. May the angels in heaven show you the way. November 21, 1917 - August 10, 2013. Miriam Van Sickle Born June 20, 1928 and passed away August 1, 2013 at The Lakes Memory Care after a fall which resulted in a hip fracture. Miriam is survived by her husband J.B; J.B's daughter and son in law Nancy and Jay Jones, grandchildren Jacob (Toni) Dick and Matthew Dick, as well as her twin sister Marjorie (Hoyt) Ambrosius of Hemet, and several nieces and nephews. Miriam and J.B. have lived in Sun Lakes for 23 years, and were married 35 years. We want to remember your loved ones in the "Friends We Will Miss" section, above, but we need your help.
