Unique Church Charity Event
The congregation of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church has
organized a unique charity event. The congregations from St.
Stephen's Episcopal Church, LifeSpring Christian church and
United Methodist Church have joined together to collect canned
food to build structures resembling churches, Jack-o-Lanterns
and a cross at this years, "Meet your Merchant" Community
Expo put on by the Beaumont Chamber. In addition to all of
the cans from the structures being donated to local charities,
the public was invited to bring in can donations as well.
