Four Season Singers Performing Arts Club Our Readers Theater Radio Show was another success. We put on two shows from the 40s and 50s,"The Lone Ranger" and "Amanda of Honeymoon Hill." We upped the ante with more professional sound effects, a better sound system, and of course, wonderful scripts. Many thanks to Tom Shelley for grabbing the reins and arranging these shows. One request from the audience was to have shows that continued prior story-lines, ex. What is going to happen to the baby, Little Olive? We are going to take that concern and discuss it further at our next meeting. Any and all suggestions are ALWAYS welcome. On Monday afternoons, you can hear our "improved" choir hard at work, practicing holiday music to sing at our Annual Holiday Extravaganza. The dates for the holiday show are Dec. 6 and 7. There will be 300 FREE tickets issued for each performance and will be available as of Nov. 26. There are two major differences being made this year. The first is that we are going to have two evenings of shows so we can have enough room for everyone to participate without overcrowding, and second, a very special treat. Catch A Star Theatrical Players (CAST), a local, very talented, theatrical troupe will be performing "A Seussified Christmas Carol." (A Seuss spin on a classic tale.) The Four Seasons Line Dancers will also be in the Holiday Show. They are always entertaining and enjoyable to watch. They make it look easy but I have a feeling it isn't. This will be a holiday show you will definitely remember. We will remind you again, but bring bells or your keys to the performance. We will need your help with some sound effects. We were so happy with the turnout for our future Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Show's first informational meeting and auditions. We wish we had more parts for everyone who came to audition, but that is just not possible. We hope everyone who didn't get the part they wanted understands. If you really have the "itch" to perform, join us and get involved in our other future events. Speaking of future events, we have so many ideas, there aren't enough dates for us to fulfill them. If you have any ideas, send an email to Susan Youel or Sheldon Craig at: syouel@ earthlink.net. ~ Barbara Wasco 32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2013 | clubs & Groups We are perfecting our holiday songs for the musical section of the Holiday Show. We hope you like what we have prepared for the sing-along portion as well. Bring your jingle bells, bell jewelry or just your car keys and come jingle a long with us! Grandkids will be delighted! Four Seasons Singers meet in the Ballroom on Monday afternoons. As always, if you are interested in the Four Seasons Singers, you can contact me at (951) 797-3466 or email me at bawasco@dc.rr.com or come to any Monday rehearsal. ~ Barbara Wasco Classical Music Club We are a group of classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music.
