Hiking Club September found us at Crystal Cove Beach, one of our favorite locations for hiking. The hot, dry weather that had gripped Beaumont for several weeks was not missed on the coast. The day began with cool fog shading the coastline and when it dissolved at midday, fall-like temperatures continued to make for a wonderful day. As is always the case here, there were tide pools to examine and chilly waves for hikers to dip their feet into as they strolled along the sands. Lunch was at the local Beachcomber restaurant and then it was back to the north side of the cove for a tour of the dilapidated cottages that served as the settings of the early beach movies. To find out where we are hiking call or email Lynette Simonson, Hike Central (951) 377-0392 lynette.simonson@gmail.com ~Leonard Tavernetti All Seasons RV Club RV members are always on the go having lots of fun in our RV's or in Rick and Jamie's case on a ship. Good news… Ron Morgan is making great strides in his recovery, but prayers and good wishes still need to be sent, as he has a long way to go. Jim Jackson is in the middle of a nice recovery from gall bladder surgery, and was sent home within less than 24 hours. Our next RV trip is in November.
