young at heart Our annual golf tournament will be Sun., Nov. 17, on the Executive Course, with dinner to follow at the North Clubhouse. The cost is $15 per golfer, which includes prize money and dinner and $10 per non-golfer, to include dinner only. Golf fees will be extra if you do not have an annual golf membership. Reservations will be taken by Michele Walter at 4713 Skyview Circle. Our New Year's Eve party will be Tues., Dec. 31, at the South Clubhouse. This year's entertainment will be Ricky B and the Stingers. The doors will open at 7:30 pm, with dinner served promptly at 8 pm. The cost for the evening is only $30 pp, which will include a great meal along with a full evening of entertainment. The most important thing to remember is to get your money in to Michele Walter, beginning Nov. 4. NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BEFORE THIS DATE. There will be assigned seating, so if you wish to sit with a group, all checks must be submitted together. Do not delay getting your spot reserved as this event sells out quickly. New board members will be elected at the November golf event. If you have been thinking about getting involved with chorale Our upcoming Holiday Concert, directed by Bob Jenson with Accompanist Kristin Chemistruck will be Fri., Dec. 6 at 7 pm, Sat., Dec. 7, at 7 pm, and Sun., Dec. 8 at 3 pm. Tickets go on sale in the Main Clubhouse Lobby Nov. 18, and will be sold weekedays from 9 am to 3 pm. Adults are $8 and children 12 and under are $4. There will be positions in need of being filled, both on the board, and as an event coordinator to help out with the various functions scheduled for 2014. If you have any ideas, or would like more information as to what is needed for next year and how you can help out, please call or e-mail Michele Walter at 845-2002, or crystalwater@ dc.rr.com. This holiday season, we are happy to share some of our funds with the community. $150 will be donated to the Wounded Warriors, $250 will go to BPAL (Banning Police Activities League), which does so much for the kids in the Pass area, and $250 to the Senior Center. All are very deserving of these donations and the club is more than happy to help in this way. Dues remain at $10 pp, payable to our Treasurer Peggy Huetten at 5984 Spanish Trail. As the year draws to a close, PLEASE NOTE: if you are not a member of YAH, your dues paid now will cover the remainder of this year AND will include your dues for 2014.
