Creative Drawing & Sketching Class Are you in need of relaxation? A beginner at drawing? An experienced artist? Not able to draw a straight line? The answer for you is the Drawing & Sketching class held twice a week, at NO CHARGE, for your convenience. We have approximately 20 students between the two classes now. Many started with no experience or last picked up a pencil to draw over 30 years ago. Their results have been remarkable, creating pictures good enough to frame and hang in their homes. Those with experience, have all learned from the classes and have improved their skills. The instructor works with other media (colored paper and pencils) with the more advanced students. Classes are Mondays, 10 am to 12 pm and/or Wednesdays, 6 to 8 pm. Otherwise, just drop by one of the classes and sit through it to see if it is for you. Looking forward to seeing new faces in class. ~ Rob Kelman Work by the Artist of the Month: Clifton Race Women Celebrating America "Believe:" Women's Bible Study We meet on the first Monday of the month at 7 pm except Jan. 8, due to New Year's. Our last meeting 2013 focused on 2014 Women's History Project nominees "Celebrating Women of Character, Courage, and Commitment. We agreed that these discussions are inspiring and expand our understanding of the role of women in America at all levels. See you Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 7 pm in the The Lodge. ~ Lynette Simonson On Jan. 3, and every Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the Ballroom, the new Four Seasons women's Bible study,"Believe," will encourage discussion and growth for each woman in attendance. Intended as a non-denominational study, all women are invited to attend. The goal of this new club will be to learn from the Bible how to become women of strength, courage, love and compassion.
