Dinner Dance Club With our new year's resolution to stay in good shape, what better way than to dance and have lots of fun at the same time. You should have all received your new schedule for the year. If you haven't gotten it, you can pick up the schedule at your next dance. January's dance will be "dressy" and will be Sat., Jan. 18. We will have the fabulous sounds from "Touch of Class" from 6 to 9:30 pm. The doors will open at 5 pm for those who are coming for the free, half hour dance lesson which will be given by Ralph and Marilyn Yates. Many of the members have enjoyed these lessons. The dinner entrees include Chicken Cordon Bleu for $19 pp. Those preferring fish can select the Kentucky Style Salmon for $22 pp. The vegetarian choice is a baked potato stuffed with broccoli, cheese and onion with sour cream on the side. This option is $18 pp. Sign-up for this dance will be held at the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room on Thurs., Jan 9. Table selections begin at 2:30 pm so come early so all paper work is completed before the table selections begin. If you have signed up for the dinner dance but find that you are unable to attend, please contact Carol at 845-5962 before 3 pm on the day of the dance so you can pick up your meal. International Culture Club We will be celebrating the New Year on Thurs. Jan. 9. Membership dues of $25 pp are due at this time of the year, and have to be paid in order to attend. Global affair will be providing the music for your listening and dancing pleasure and starts at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm; we will be celebrating the country of Italy, and featuring Italian food on the buffet which starts at 6:30 pm by table call. You will find chicken cacciatore, meatless marinara lasagna, mild Italian sausage with green peppers and medley of vegetables. The antipasto dinner salad of mixed greens, pepperoni, provolone cheese, black olives with Italian and ranch dressings will be table-preset along with garlic bread and butter. Spumoni ice scream will be served for dessert. Sign ups are on Jan. 2, in the North Clubhouse and remain at $22 for members and $25 for a nonresident guests. Remember to bring two checks, one for the $25 membership pp and another for the $22 pp. If you find that you cannot attend after signing up, call Martie Steggel for a take-out dinner box at 769-3217. The show will be at 7 pm both nights. The 30 members will be showcased during the show in nine numbers. Several invited guests will perform as well. All friends and families of the members are invited to come see what they work on so diligently each week. Numbers for the show will be: Boots, Roses, One, California Girl, Mousercize, Spoof, Library Can-Can, Ensemble, and a costume review. The Rhythm Sisters who are Stardust Dancers will also perform.
