Art League
Well-known artist David Fairrington will demonstrate
his oil technique at the next meeting on Sun., Jan 19 at
2 pm in the South Clubhouse. Examples of his artwork
are on his website at davidfairrington.com. All residents
and their guests are invited to the meeting.
Instead of the January Monday morning art classes,
there will be a one-day Drawing Workshop taught by
Bridgette Greb. The workshop will be held on Sat., Jan. 25,
from 9 am to 12 noon and will cost $20 for members and
$25 for non-members. Please contact Socorro Castellano

the class.
Each general meeting has a mini-show where members may
display their work which is then voted on by those attending
the meeting. The winners of the mini-show at the November
General Meeting are pictured above right: 1st place: Steve Felber;
2nd place: Sharon Salcido; 3rd place: Rosa Gascoigne; and Best of
Show: Jeanette Burks. The first, second and third place winners
are chosen by those present at the meeting. Best of Show is chosen
by the demo artist at the meeting. All Sun Lakes residents are
invited to join the Art League. The dues are $15 per year. Info.,
