The Friendship Club
Sun Lakes Friendship Club Presents: Supreme Reflections,
a tribute to Diana Ross and the Supremes. This show will be
on our Ballroom stage, Feb. 9, hosted by our special guest star,
Motown producer, George Solomon.
The Tony award winning Broadway hit, Dream Girls, which
was loosely based on The Supremes, went on to become an
Oscar winning film and is soon to have a revival on Broadway.
Dream Girls presented new music, "Baby Love," "Stop! In The
Name Of Love," "You Can't Hurry Love," and more. The ladies
in this cast are multi-talented and have performed in scores of
Broadway musicals and television shows ranging from soap
operas to Star Search, They are young but possess the dynamic
qualities of the classic entertainers from another generation.
Most importantly, their interpretations of The Supremes vocals
are so true to the original recordings that it must be pointed out
that they are singing live and not lip-syncing.
Supreme Reflections is a full-scale musical comedy revue
that will thrill Sun Lakers and give new appreciation to the three
classy ladies from Detroit who became and remain the most
popular female vocal group in the world.

Ballroom and sign up for your 2014 membership. Dues are
$25 pp.
The January program is Fri., Jan. 24, at 11 am in the South
Clubhouse. The topic will be "Meet your new Happy Cooker
Board Members." President Joan Nolte will introduce the
2014 board members and all of the chairpersons of each
Happy Cooker Committee. Also the calendar of programs
