WinterFest a Success, Adds to Scholarship Funds The Chamber's Small Business Saturday Holiday Boutique held in conjunction the City's WinterFest was a huge success. Several thousand people filled the streets enjoying the food, music, festivities and vendor booths. The Chamber held an opportunity drawing with prizes donated by the vendors. All money raised went into the Chamber's scholarship foundation benefiting local high school students interested in pursuing their education in business. The Chamber also conducted a business holiday decorating contest. The winners of the contest were: Dr. Tonda Bradshaw for Best Lights; Green Valley Village Apartments for Best Holiday Spirit and Lynch's Florist for Most Creative. Chamber Ambassador of the Year Nancy Kenny helps the Chamber raise over $2,000 for its scholarship fund New Business Ribbon Cuttings The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for new Chamber member American Road Trip Bar & Grill last month. Although American Road Trip has been open for a few months, they wanted to let the public know they have worked out the kinks and have an all new menu based on input from their customers. They also have lunch specials guaranteed to be served quickly and ranging in price from $6.99 to $9.99. American Road Trip is located at 33960 Yucaipa Blvd. You can reach them at 797-7774 to place a to-go order or to get more information. Alexandra's Emporium specializes in ladies apparel, accessories and home furnishings. The owner, Alexandra McColm, also owns a store in Lake Arrowhead. She fell in love with Yucaipa's homey, cozy feel and decided to open another store in the renovated Uptown district. The store is located at 35051 Yucaipa Blvd., Ste. A. The store is open seven days a week from 12 to 6pm.
