Memory Care Group (Formerly Alzheimer's & Dementia Helpers) February is the month we celebrate Valentines Day. We are thankful we have our loved ones as we remember the ones who are no longer with us. Our next meeting will be Thurs., Feb. 20 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Our guest speaker is Lisa Ramsey from CALMA. Lisa is a California advocate for longterm care and assistance with Medi-Cal. Don't wait until it's too late. Having this knowledge will help you make the right decisions for your particular needs when the time comes. While you are at the meeting leave your loved ones in the arts and craft room with our very capable volunteers. Last month we enjoyed entertainment by Susan Brown. Susan is a frequent visitor to our group. We play games., take walks, and always have some form of entertainment. You can enjoy the meeting and know your loved one is well taken care of. All our volunteers have experience with memory care patients. They have had a family member with some form of memory loss. Check us out. You are welcome to stop by and see what we do. As of this writing we are uncertain of our caregiver support group future meetings. Our January meeting was canceled. Check channel 97 for an update on February and future meetings.
