A Note from the Activities Director
By Louise Ceccarelli
Whew! We made it through the holidays, took
down the decorations and put them away, and now
we can look forward to what's happening in 2014.
Some "new" community events, that were tried
out in 2013 and were a success, will be brought
back by popular demand: community shred day,
music on the plaza, and community recycle day,
just to name a few.
There will also be a few changes to our Movie
Theatre selections to create a theme movie weeks
such as Best Director, Best Actor, etc. This includes
historical and documentary selections. If you
have a movie you would really like to see, especially
with a group of friends, please come fill out a pink
Movie Suggestion form at the front desk. We will
try to inform you ahead of time of New Release
movies, and will add extra show times if necessary,
to accommodate everyone who wants to see the
movie.
Keep your eyes on the Hemet Herald Magazine,
the Lodge lobby information counter, the display
board, and e-mail blasts to keep abreast of what is
happening here in your community.
Let's make 2014 a memorable year for all, and
have fun!
Thank you, Chanukah Team
Special thanks to those who helped with the creation and
installation of the Chanukah Decorations: (from left to
right) John Kristiansen, Jerry Fields, Dena Cohen, Scottie
Singer, Mila Bodrov, Joan Marcus and Margie Kristiansen.
