Red Hot Seasons Our next meeting is Jan. 13, at 2 pm in the Ballroom. We will be planning our events for the coming year. If you want to take part in planning the 2014 activities please make sure to attend this meeting. We will resume our monthly meetings on the fourth Monday of the month in February. Prospective members and curiosity seekers are invited to attend to see what it's all about. Remember, our only rule is "No rules!" As of this writing we are anticipating our Holiday luncheon at the Anchor. We have 40 plus members signed up and we should have a wonderful time. Thanks again to all who participated in the event planning for this past year. Hope to see you all Jan. 13! Seasoned Solos #2 Hope you all have started the New Year out having fun! I have made only one resolution "This will be a year of change." I will try to do things different, not so hum drum, a little out of the norm! Unfortunately the attendance to some events that have been planned for the group has been poor. It has been brought to my attention that some felt there are not enough men attending. I personally think that if the group continues the ratio of men to women will equal out. Men tend to join in at a slower pace. Let's give them a chance! The purpose of the group is to meet senior singles of both genders to go and do things together as senior singles. I won't be able to report the attendance for the Jan. 31 Planning Meeting & Game Night until the March magazine. But, if you attend and participate in the planning of events, perhaps we can find some common interests of the group. Hope you are signed up for the e-mail blasts from the Lodge. Information was given in advance of a couple of events suggested by group members. There is an envelope at the Lodge to leave any suggestion, comments, and etc. for the group. 23 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2014 | TGIF Here are the bare facts… WHEN: First and third Friday of each month TIME: 5 pm and mingle for 30 minutes prior to eating WHERE: Ballroom at the Lodge WHAT: Celebrating It's Friday!
