If you register at least a week early, we'll be able to save classes that appear to have not met the minimum enrollment. In most cases, we'll also be able to add classes if we exceed the maximum enrollment provided a wait list has been established prior to the first class meeting. Class fees are determined by the number of participants enrolled in each class. For current fees, please contact the class instructor. Due to the number of participants, the class fee may be increased slightly or the class may be canceled. Robin Sick, our Sun Lakes Fitness Trainer, is interested in getting men and women out on the streets of Sun Lakes to get fit! Any fitness level is welcome from beginners to advanced. There will be an orientation on Tuesday, May 6th in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 12:30 pm to go over questions and sign a liability form. If you are interested, the group will regularly meet in the North Clubhouse parking lot on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 to 8:30 am May 7 – May 29. This program is FREE, bring a friend! Walking with a Purpose BlOOD PRESSURE ChECkS Thurs., April 3, Main Clubhouse Lobby, 9 - 11am. Spring garage SaleS: Start cleaning out those garages. Sales are 8 am – 4 pm. Residents are asked to have any remaining items that did not sell back into their homes after the garage sale. Dates and district participation is as follows: May 3: Dists. 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13; May 10: Dists. 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23; May 17: Dists. 2, 3, 5, 7, 16, 17. Senior HealtH Fair: Thurs., May 8 from 9 am – 12 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. You are invited to attend our 14th Annual Senior Health Fair in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. This event is co- sponsored by the Visiting Nurses Association and will feature over 50 exhibits dedicated to senior issues and concerns. Screenings for blood pressure and bone density are just a few of the booths available to visit. This event is FREE to residents; please come see what the excitement is all about! Comedy nigHt: Sat., May 10, 7-8:30 pm, Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Enjoy an evening of laughs with Corporate Comedy Entertainment featuring three great comedians from the L.A. area. Tickets are only $7 pp and doors will open at 6 pm. This event will be table seating. We will be holding the lottery registration from April 7 – April 13. You can pick up your registration forms at the Main Clubhouse Reception Desk. Tickets are $7 each, checks only. Limit four people per check, 8-10 people per table.
