As a reminder our theme for this month is "All things Irish and Shades of Spring." This event is being held on Fri., April 4 at the South Clubhouse, starting at 5 pm. For those of you who have already signed up, you will enjoy a typical Irish meal of corn beef and cabbage, potatoes, salad, dessert and coffee. Remember to bring your own drinks if you prefer something other than coffee. For entertainment we will tap our toes to the sound of Irish Music and dance performed by the Tirruaidh Irish Dance Company from Redlands. If you have any questions or need more information, call Judy Garthwaite at 797-3130. The pasta festival, held in March was a great success. Everyone enjoyed tasting the variety of pastas presented by John Russo, who also delighted us with stories of his life in the restaurant business. Ray Rendon entertained us with his rendition of our favorite Italian songs. It was altogether a delightful evening. It's a fiesta! Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated in typical Mexican fashion on Fri., May 2, at 5 pm, South Clubhouse. We will eat an authentic Mexican meal, which will include an entrée, with rice, beans and tortillas along with a side salad, dessert and coffee. If you prefer something other than coffee you are welcome to bring your own drinks. Music for listening and dancing will be provided by Ed Avino. We also will be honored with the International Dancers performing Folkloric dances. This should be a really fun event so please don't forget that in order to attend you must sign up by Mon., April 28. The cost is $13 for members and $15 for guests.
