Golf Welcome to Ladies Executive Golfers (LEG's)! We are a 9-hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18-hole tournaments and "away games" a few times during the year. During the winter (October through June) we meet at 8:30 am with a tee time of 9 am. On the third Tuesday of the month is our monthly meeting and lunch ($10) at the South Clubhouse. Guests are always welcome! For lunch information, please contact Sue Foreman, 769-0882. Please join us in the Sun Lakes Women's Golf Club (S.L.W.G.C.) and enjoy 18 holes of golf on the championship course each Thursday morning and the first Saturday of the month. Our tournaments are flighted and a $65 membership fee includes a WSCGA sanctioned handicap. Come and play a variety of golf games, meet new friends, and enjoy the Sun Lakes life! Golf is much more than a game — it allows us to meet and enjoy a group of "sisters" that will encourage and hold us up in life. Upcoming events include the Club Championship, April 10, 17, and 24, our Member-Guest Tournament, May 29, and the Senior Championship, June 24 and June 26. Membership applications are in the Main Pro Shop and the registration fee of $63 includes your 2014 handicap with the S.C.G.A./G.H.I.N. and the opportunity of playing in any or all of our remaining 18 tournaments scheduled for 2014. In addition, our members play monthly for Hole In One, Shoot Your Age or Better, plus Player of the Month (in each flight) script awards. A reminder: to play in our July Club Championship, you will have had to play in a minimum of six Men's Golf Club Tournaments over the prior 12 months. Executive Men's Golf Men's Golf Travelers Coed Golf All Sun Lakes male golfers are encouraged to come out on Friday mornings at 8:30 am to the North Clubhouse for a 9 am tee time. We play every Friday on the Executive Course with monthly tournaments on the third Friday of the month. Every week you can enter to win $ for closest to the pin. Our next tournament on April 18 is a Partners Best Ball format followed by lunch in the North Clubhouse. Tournament winners have $ credited to their accounts which can be used to purchase items from the Pro Shop or Restaurant/Lounge. New member forms are available in the North Pro Shop or EMGC website. So come out and join us, we would like to have you as a member. We will be returning to the Blue Water Resort & Spa in Parker, AZ on April 14 and 15. On April 15, we will be playing a new course for the Travelers… The Refuge with it's many beautiful views of Lake Havasu and six par 3s! On April 16, we will again be playing Emerald Canyon (one of our favorite courses) located right in the Parker area. The trip packages include a nice hotel room on April 14 and 15 and rounds of golf, including cart and prize money (for those with valid handicaps) on April 15 and 16. We've got a great group signed up so far! It's not too late to sign-up, if you get your total payment in before March 17! The sign up brochures are now in the Main Pro Shop. Everyone is welcome and this is traditionally our most popular trip of the year, so join us for some great fun!
