Social Committee A round of applause for the Chairwomen (Char Jafay and Sue Mushallo) and their talented committee for the fabulous Cruise Night. No detail to make us feel like we were on a cruise ship was left untouched. It is still the talk of all that attended. A big thank you for all the time and effort that was put into this event. The excitement for the Ladies Luncheon was already building before the tickets went on sale. Dana Inslee and Carolyn Lebo and their committee will bring us another beautiful and delicious luncheon on April 10. Ladies, I hope that all of you who want to attend have your tickets! At 4:30 pm on Saturday evening, February 22nd, the horn sounded, the doors opened and Captain Mike McLaughlin and his Cruise Director, Donna McLaughlin greeted the Four Seasons residents coming aboard the S. S. Splendor for an evening of dining, dancing and entertainment. All of the "passengers" were welcomed into the Ballroom which was uniquely decorated to represent being on a "first class" ship, complete with a beautiful Bon Voyage ice sculpture. Chef Francisco and his crew were responsible for a gourmet dinner, while One-2-Many kept the passengers on their feet and enjoying all of the wonderful music. The photo booth was a special attraction allowing our guests to be creative with funny glasses, masks and hats. One of the highlights of the evening was "Anthony the Magic" who kept all of the passengers guessing… how did he do that? This magical evening was created by both Sue Mushallo and Char Jafay and their crew of; Renee Dugan-Morgan, Rosie Garrison, Maggie Grimes, Margie Hobbs, Donna McLaughlin, Georgiann Smith, Kathy Steenblock, Stella Torres, and Phyllis Brumfield, Liaison, Social Committee. Working behind the scenes doing a multitude of tasks were Brian and Sharon Buckley, Debbie and Cecil Frasier, Wally Garrison, Fred Grimes, Charlie Martin, Mike McLaughlin, John Mushallo and Barbara and Steve Wallace. In addition, a big thank you to Ross Brunetto, John Kristiansen and Don Ortega for assembling the stage for One-2-Many. To our Euclid Management staff, thank you for assisting with the setup and removal of the tables and chairs and so many other endless tasks which made for a smooth sailing for the S. S. Splendor. And to our Four Seasons residents, thank you for supporting this first-time event! | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2014 | 10 9 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | April 2014 | It was Smooth Sailing Aboard the S.
