Guitar Club New Jersey/ New York Club Sun., April 13, 2 - 5 pm in the Ballroom. Karaoke Dance Party Four Seasons Players The Happy Campers RV Club meets at 9:30 am on the first Saturday of each month. Our meetings as well as membership in the club are open to all Four Seasons residents. Tucalota Springs RV Park – Sage, CA: The club will spend four nights just south of Hemet, on a short trip to Tucalota Springs RV Park & Campground (March 31st through April 3rd). This is our first venture to one of the areas lesser known parks. Our many outdoor chefs will prepare a potluck dinner which should supply sustenance for several days, otherwise we'll have to visit some of the many wineries and restaurants in the area. As always, the Daily social hour and Evening campfire will offer an opportunity for story telling, great camaraderie perhaps some Karaoke and many fond memories. The park is situated in a beautiful stand of old oak trees, with a small zoo, a swimming pool, club rooms, a catch & release fishing pond and many other amenities. We hope that this nearby venue becomes a regular stop for the Happy Campers. 49er RV Ranch – Columbia, CA: In May the club will travel to the Western Sierra foothills to visit Columbia, California and Gold County. We'll stay at the 49er RV Ranch which is next to Columbia State Historic Park and in the midst of beautiful rolling wooded hillsides. In addition to all of the clubs usual activities, this adventure will offer a catered dinner and show at the park. We will have the chance to ride ZIP Lines, tour caverns, take a day trip to Yosemite National Park or trek through Giant Sequoias at Calaveras Big Trees State Park (the longest continuously operating tourist facility in California. In 2010 and 2012, this area provided a lot of fun and great memories. Again this year, Jimmy and Linda Bryan will provide the leadership for this wonderful 10 day trip to California's Western Sierra. Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks: On Sept. 2, we will depart on a 15 day journey to Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks in the Northwest corner of Wyoming. These parks are so very popular that reservations should be made soon before the RV Parks are fully booked. Join us! We have a great time both while traveling and while planning and discussing our RV trips at our monthly meetings… we hope you will consider joining us. Happy Campers RV Club First, thank you so much for attending our March performance of "Laughter is the Best Medicine." And thank you to the cast for making us laugh out loud, heartily. Deserving particular mention is Candace Hawley who played a drunk in "Murder at the Tonylou Awards." You were hilarious. And a special thanks to Ginny Cole Weaver who portrayed a sickly old lady with the Swine Flu in "The Perils of Carmen Geditt." You will always be remembered for that pig nose and those antics around your ailments. You are to be commended for having the guts to perform for us in this role, but you were certainly a hit with the audience. Good job everyone! On June 14, we will perform "Love Letters." This play has been staged across the country in both professional and amateur theatres. It's a story about two people whose lives are woven together from the second grade through their adult years. Their story is told through a series of letters they have written to each other over 50 years. We will have eight actors performing the phases of their lives. The show is a comedy/drama with laughter, drama, and maybe a few tears. You don't want to miss this one as our actors will be stretched to their limits performing in a different way then ever before. We can hardly wait to show you how we have grown and matured in our performance ability. For now, this is Emilie Ortega, wishing you a great April and happy spring.
