6 OUR YUCAIPA | MAY 2014 OUR YUCAIPA | MAY 2014 7 Welcoming Businesses to Yucaipa Smart Solar Power Ribbon Cutting Target Nutrition Ribbon Cutting Jersey Mike's Ribbon Cutting Mat Jones cuts the ribbon for Dynamic Guns and Ammo as the staff and chamber folks look on. Dynamic Guns is located at 34213 Yucaipa Blvd. and open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. My husband Tony and I opened Fleur Salon May 1, 2013. It has been very rewarding doing what I love in an establishment we created. With all the hard work put into our salon, we have been beyond grateful to be open one year. Yucaipa has been good to us and we thank you for your business as it allows us to continue doing what we love. To show our gratitude, our team came together and decided we want to give back to our community. We are very pleased to donate to Yucaipa Outreach, in honor of Fleur Salon's one-year anniversary. Our mission statement is "We encourage women and men of all ages to look and feel their best and we want to connect with our guests and provide them with physical nourishment and guidance through experienced hair designers and spa providers." This is exactly what we would like to give to Yucaipa Outreach clients. After meeting with Candy Stallings, Executive Director and Sylvia Campos, Bilingual Community Educator and Advocate, I was filled with even more joy to be able to give to this organization. They educated me on how Yucaipa Outreach works and what their need is. We are excited and hopeful this donation will be successful. We are raffling off a gift basket of Aveda hair care to our guests. As well as giving a bundle of gift certificates for hair and spa services. In May we will donate a Mother's Day Gift basket for a mother in need. All proceeds of all three donations will go to Yucaipa Outreach. We hope to inspire our local businesses to give back. We are extremely happy to work with Yucaipa Outreach. Most of all, we "Thank You, Yucaipa!"
