The engine was trashed, so Jim had a stroker 308 built. After deciding a stroker was too much engine for his purposes, Jim had Phil Mandella of Performance Speed in Rancho Cucamonga install a factory crate 350/290 HP engine along with a Mustang 2 Clip with an IDIDIT steering column. The calve covers and air filter sport the Edelbrock logo. The transmission is a Chevy 700R4. This combination makes a really pleasurable cruiser. The flames are from Gangora's Custom Paint and Body Shop in Pomona. Come to a meeting with the Cruzin Cronies and talk to Jim about his Ford. We all love to show off our cars and talk about them. On May 3, we will meet in the Main Clubhouse parking lot, at 8:30 am and caravan to Carrows for our meeting and breakfast. For more information, contact Ron Chesnut at 769-3253, Richard Kramer at 769-9157, Jay Jesus at 845-4205, Neil Torrence at 845-8787, or Dick Sinner at 951-5129. If you enjoy the company of good friends and fun times in some beautiful settings this is the club for you. We conduct five rallies during he year. We offer activities at each of our rallies with your choice of participation. Activities may include sightseeing in the area, a round of golf, bocce ball, ring toss or bean bag baseball. Some members gather for card games in the evenings. Not the gaming type? We also offer you one of everybody's favorite pastimes of getting together to share a few meals. Guests are always welcome! If you would like to join our club or attend as a guest please contact Lyn and Jim Ball at 769-3028. We would like to thank John & Peg Andrews and their committee for a job well done as they hosted our March rally at Pechanga RV Resort.
