As we have in years past, there will be an increase of younger guests at the pool during their allotted 12 to 5 pm time frame. The Pool Monitor will be scheduled on the weekends from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. The Monitor's presence helps maintain a trouble-free and peaceful time at the pool. If you do bring guests with you to the pool, please remember that you have a responsibility to your fellow residents to monitor your guests and make sure they (as well as you) respect and follow the rules established by our Board of Directors. Our newly revised Rules and Regulations and ARC Guidelines Booklets have been mailed to all owners and tenants. Please take the time to read both. A lot of effort went into them. As I write this, we have made some progress on our Lot "A" activities. The "No Trespassing" signs have been installed and proposals for fencing the outer perimeter are being reviewed by the committees and their recommendations will be submitted to the Board for discussion and possible action. From time to time I've written about important topics to ponder and would like to include one that comes up on many occasions. The topic below is important and concerns the appearance of our community grounds: This message is for those residents who disregard our rules and common courtesy and either do not pick up their dog's droppings, or leave the bag for someone else to take care of. Please pick it up and take the bag home with you. You're going to end up there anyway. It's not part of the landscape contract to do your pet's clean-up. Thanks in advance. As we pause to celebrate and remember the sacrifices that our veterans have made, we would like to say thank you to all of our resident veterans. We owe you a huge debt of gratitude for your service and for our country's freedom. May you and your family have a safe and peaceful Memorial Day. Until next month, Rick A Message From Your General Manager By Rick Ruth, CCAM Have you noticed the art in the hallway by the Ballroom? All of the art on the walls and in the cabinet — paintings, pottery, jewelry, quilting, and more — is done by residents at Four Seasons. The artwork is changed at the beginning of each month. In May, Sherry Hutson and Jane Pearce will be featured on the wall and Lois Stipp's drawing class students will be displaying some of their work in the cabinet. Four Seasons Art Gallery Hall Things to Do Diamond Valley Lake, Hemet: May is a great month to enjoy this well kept secret. It's a fishing oasis (you can buy tackle), joggers paradise, many hiking and biking trails, bird watching and boat rentals (Wednesday they are 1/2 off, so call early to make a reservation, they book quickly). Relax and just enjoy the beautiful scenery. It's one of the largest and newest man-made off stream reservoirs in Southern California. House of Victorian Visions Bridal Museum: 146 North Harvard, Hemet • 487-6088: "Within these cheerful cottage walls a century's worth of bridal gowns await delightful visitors." Owners Eva and Rick Faulkner in the past 12 years have hosted over 800 nuptials here! Open Wed., Thurs. and Fri. 11 am to 6 pm. Call for more information. Please e-mail your suggestions/recommendations to Paul Barr at ps.barr@hotmail.com by the third of each month for the following month's Hemet Herald. The column will only continue if we get fresh ideas from you. I greatly appreciate your assistance in helping to keep this column continuing! This column is designed to highlight those special places that others have found and then share them with all in the community. Here are a few:
