If you register at least a week early, we'll be able to save classes that appear to have not met the minimum enrollment. In most cases, we'll also be able to add classes if we exceed the maximum enrollment provided a wait list has been established prior to the first class meeting. Class fees are determined by the number of participants enrolled in each class. For current fees, please contact the class instructor. Dr. Catherine Luib is extensively cross trained in many holistic medicines, including Chiropractic, Whole Foods Nutrition/Vitamin Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has served in these fields for over six years and brings extensive clinical experience as a multi-disciplinary practitioner of holistic medicine from her graduate internship at the prestigious Southern California University of Health Sciences. In recent years, Dr. Luib also had an amazing opportunity as the Acupuncture Physician to travel and see the world while treating patients in her health clinic on board cruise ships. Dr. Luib also operates a successful and expanding multidisciplinary holistic practice from two land locations in Southern California. Because she specializes and utilizes a holistic approach, natural alternative medicine and her personal case experiences, her patients get well with amazing results. Dr. Luib is able to treat all types of pain conditions, arthritis, sciatica, sleeping problems, weight-loss challenges, even facial rejuvenation. BlooD PrESSurE ChECkS Thurs., June 5, Main Clubhouse Lobby, 9 - 11am. July 4th gOlf cart parade Join us for the annual 4th of July Golf Cart Parade. For residents who just want to watch, the carts will be turning right out of the Main Clubhouse this year, then right on Riviera, followed by a right back onto Country Club Dr., then into the Main Clubhouse parking lot. The opening ceremonies, classic cars, Precision Stardust Dancers, award announcement, and parade kickoff will all happen from inside the Main Clubhouse parking lot. For parade participants, application packets for the Golf Cart Parade and Classic Cars are available starting June 2 at the front reception desk at the Main Clubhouse. The theme for this year's celebration is "Let Freedom Ring". We will be offering ribbons and gift certificates to the restaurant for the following 6 categories: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Most Original, Most Creative, and Spirit Award. The deadline to register your cart is Tuesday, July 1. The schedule for the day is: 9 am: Classic car viewing, Parade Judging, Pineapple Jam playing at main entry way 9:45 am: Opening Ceremonies, National Anthem by the Sun Lakes Barbershop Chorus, Presentation of Colors 9:50 am: Awards Announced & Precision Stardust Dance Routine 10 am: Parade starts, turning RIGHT out of the Clubhouse 11 am: Classic Car Display & BBQ on the Driving Range 11 am – 2 pm: Games and contests TBD Beat the heat indOOr MOvie Join us in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom on Wed., July 16 at 7 pm as we show "Saving Mr. Banks," a PG-13 comedy, 125 minutes long. This family friendly movie is about an author, P.L. Travers, who reflects on her childhood after reluctantly meeting with Walt Disney, who seeks to adapt her Mary Poppins books for the big screen. This is a FREE event to Sun Lake residents, with theater seating in the ballroom, and projected on the stage screen. Please call the reception desk at 845- 2191 to make your reservation.
