New car, old car, or no car at all. We meet the First Saturday of every month except in December. We all love to show off our cars and talk about them. On June 7, we will meet at 8:30 am in the Main Clubhouse parking lot and caravan to Carrows for some old time camaraderie, a monthly meeting and breakfast. The venue at Carrows starts at 9 am. We'll be driving our cars in the Fourth of July Parade here in Sun Lakes, so be sure to join us with your special car, for the celebration. For more information, contact Ron Chesnut at 769-3253, Richard Kramer at 769-9157, Jay Jesus at 845-4205, Neil Torrance at 845-8787, or Dick Sinner at 951-5129. If you enjoy the company of good friends and fun times in some beautiful settings this is the club for you. We conduct five rallies during he year. We offer activities at each of our rallies with your choice of participation. Activities may include sightseeing in the area, a round of golf, bocce ball, ring toss or bean bag baseball. Some members gather for card games in the evenings. Not the gaming type? We also offer you one of everybody's favorite pastimes of getting together to share a few meals. Guests are always welcome! If you would like to join our club or attend as a guest please contact Lyn and Jim Ball at 769-3028. We would like to thank John & Peg Andrews and their committee for a job well done as they hosted our March rally at Pechanga RV Resort. Our Rally Schedule for 2014: Sept. 7 - 12: Bishop hosted by Allen & Karen Hill. Nov. 2 - 7: Chula Vista RV Resort hosted by Jim & Lyn Ball. Sun Lakes RV Club Bible Study Our Bible study group is non-denominational. All are welcome. We meet together every week for fellowship and study. On the first Wednesday of each month we meet for dinner before our regular meeting. Reservations for dinner are taken in the meeting the last Wednesday of each month. Bring your Bible, any version, and listen to or participate in our discussion of the evening topic. We're all learning together. We'd be delighted if you'd join us. The meal was excellent and Ed Avina entertained us with our favorite Hispanic music. The Folkloric dancing was absolutely wonderful to watch or perhaps it was those margaritas that turned the evening into a fiesta. Our upcoming meeting for July will be an all American event, which will be held at the South Clubhouse. Doors open at 5 pm. The cutoff date to sign up for this 4th of July party will be June 30. Be sure to take note of this cut-off date so that you will not be disappointed. Our menu will be tri-tip au jus, chicken on a stick, barbeque beans, potato salad, and green salad followed by a dessert of apple squares and ice cream. Coffee will be served. Any other liquid refreshment is BYOB. The cost will be $15 for members and guests. Entertainment for the evening will include karaoke, a sing along and, a special surprise.
