health & sports Clubs | sun lakes lIfestyles | June 2014 | What makes TOPS different from other organizations, groups, and companies that deal with weight-loss issues? TOPS is, in fact, different from all of them. We rely on our personal physicians for their expert advice, we stress sensibleness, we offer freedom of choice, we stress moderation in all things, we offer rewards, we honor maintenance, and we are affordable. TOPS is not a company, it is not a business or a brand. TOPS is real people, caring, giving people, who band together to help and support each other to lead healthier lives. We accept each other as we are, and encourage each other to succeed. We invite you to become part of our TOPS family. We meet at the South Clubhouse each Thursday with weigh-ins starting at 9 am and the meeting from 10 to 11 am. You may visit once free of charge. Membership is only $28 a year with $3 monthly chapter dues. Best Losers for the month are: Agna Harper, Ann Oliver, Susan Johnson, Carol White, Peggy Andrews, Carol Kreckow, Audrey Carey, Lorrie Reardon, Delores Storey, and Yvonne Adams. KOPS(Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) at goal or under are: Alma Bolla, Pat Bonarigo, Sandy Burgon, Mary Ellen Carroll, Patricia Chesnut, Donna Leone, Dorothy Monterville, Fran Rayner, and Nora Van Wert. Congratulations to all! The Lucky winners of our monthly drawing were Nancy Davis and Nora Van Wert. Enjoy your winnings! Our TOPS State Recognition Days (TOPS Flower Power) were held May 29-31 in Ontario. Members that received recognition were Donna Leone as a KOPS Graduate and as our Chapter Queen. Alma Bolla as a one year KOPS, and Rosalee Strong as a four year KOPS. Thanks to the following for helping make our State Recognition Days a big success: Janice Walsh, Peggy Andrews, Donna Leone, Alma Bolla, Fran Rayner and Rosalee Strong. We all returned so motivated and inspirited. Our focus is on helping each member from our chapter Take Off Pounds Sensibly and reach their weight goal. For information on TOPS call Rosalee 845-9313.
