If the first falls on a Saturday or Sunday then sign-ups will begin on the following Monday. If a holiday falls on the first day of the month, sign-ups will begin the next day. WaItING lISt POlICy The waiting list is created by the Rec. Dept. for sold out events/excursions. This list is used (in order of registration) when the attendee has to cancel due to illness, doctor's appointment, etc. The waiting list is not used for additional sign-ups for secondary excursions that are scheduled due to their popularity. REFUND POLICY: 1. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the departure date of an excursion or special event will qualify for a full refund. 2. Cancellations made after the 30 day refund deadline are not refundable. However, if an excursion or event has sold out and there is a wait list, the Recreation Department may issue a refund if the ticket can be resold from the wait list. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out whodunit when The Art Detective of the 2014 Pageant of the Masters is on the case. The Festival of the Art's world famous theatrical celebration of art in tableaux vivants - "living pictures" - will reveal how lost treasures were discovered, where crimes of passion were uncovered (or covered up) and how creative riddles were unraveled! The stories and revelations are sure to provide fun for the whole family and be anything but elementary. Government issued ID required. Napa-Sonoma Wine Country Departs Nov. 16, returns Nov. 19, 4 days, 3 nights. Sip and sample your way through California's Wine Country! Wine was first produced in the Napa-Sonoma region as early as 1780 by Franciscan monks. Today it is home to vineyards dating all the way back to that era, as well as contemporary new wineries. You'll spend three nights in the Napa Valley region and two full days touring and exploring. You'll taste the wines of Benziger, Jacuzzi, V. Sattul and beautiful Viansa Winery. You'll also ride the Napa Valley Wine Train as you chug past pastoral farmlands and vineyards while sipping wine and enjoying lunch on board. And Away We Go! eXcursIon sIgn ups: mon., June 2 Ice cream socIals Get ready for our exciting entertainment on the veranda this summer! Starting in June, the Recreation Department will provide three FREE evenings of wonderful music! We hope you join us as we dance the night away on Sat., June 28 with "Show Down Band," 6 - 9 pm; Sat., July 26 with "After Dark," 6 - 9 pm; Sat., Aug. 30 with "One-2-Many," 6 - 9 pm. Please remember it is first come first served seating and no outside alcohol can be consumed on the veranda. Sat., June 14, 7-8:30 pm, doors open at 6 pm, Main Clubhouse Ballroom. This is the classic rock concert of the year, so don't miss out! The band consists of five lead vocalists and instrumentalists, and includes members who have actually played with the Eagles. They will be performing the Eagles soaring harmonies while executing the guitar parts and rhythm track to perfection. Desperado challenges the listener to tell the difference between what is being played live and the original versions of the songs. The show will be theater seating, first come first serve.
