Why would you impose the same regrets on those who will carry your name after you? Write something, in any genre you like. Join the club and learn how to do it well. You may surprise yourself. It's free in every way. The meeting on May 6 had the most varied agenda. Phil Bond carried the torch for beginners to get started. Roland Harrah told of his progress in writing his life story, this time about proposing marriage to his wife Thanh at Tiger Lake in Vietnam, David Barnett offered a poetic essay about "The Stick People" and their future, Joan Nicholson presented her last novel The Unraveling of Shauna Blackman and answered questions about her approach to writing and publishing books. The agenda for the meeting of June 3 at The Lodge is expected to be also varied and exciting. You are all welcome.
