Red Hatters We meet the fourth Monday of the month. Our next meeting is June 23 at 2 pm in the Ballroom. New members are always welcome. Our organization has only one rule – NO rules! Come visit us to see what it is all about. Our March event, a trip to the Carlsbad Flower Fields was a great success with 23 ladies attending. A big thank you to JoAnn Callju for sponsoring the annual Breakfast and Bingo event at the Lodge in April! There were 32 Red Hatters in attendance, the prizes were great and so was the breakfast by Francisco. Everyone had a great time. As of this writing we were getting ready for the luncheon at South Coast Winery on May 19 that was sponsored by Bonnie Brubaker. Upcoming Events: June 10th - We are meeting for lunch at My Mama's Pizza, 275 North Sanderson at 11:30 am followed by ceramics (optional) at All Fired Up. All Fired Up is a contemporary "paint your own" ceramics studio with a few twists in Hemet. They offer a great selection of pieces with plenty of help and all the materials you need to complete them in fired glazes or acrylic stains. They'll help you with color selection, finishing, or encouragement. Both venues are in the shopping center at the corner of Devonshire and Sanderson. Last year we had about 30 ladies attending the luncheon and a dozen stayed for the ceramics (right across parking lot from My Mama's). We had a great time. Note that if you are doing the ceramics it is suggested that you go in and select your piece a few days ahead to time. Event is being sponsored by Barbara Call and Gerri Barker. If you have any questions contact Barbara at 926-5013. See you there! July 9 – Lunch and Sun at the Carlsbad Inn. Margie Culton is sponsoring this event. More info to follow on this. We have a second on July 16. Bowling and pizza sponsored by Carol, Marjean and Peggy. August – Annual Ice Cream Social sponsored by Jeannine, Betty, and Donna L. Date TBD September – Metro Link to San Juan Capistrano. Dianne N. is sponsoring. More info to follow. October - Spa Day at Glen Ivy. Sponsored by Bev Markowitz.
