arah Amento, 36, is a happily married young mother
of five children. In the summer of 2013, she was diagnosed
with Stage Three Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She waged
her battle with a double mastectomy and over 30 rounds of
radiation and 16 rounds of chemotherapy. She faced each day
with gratitude and strength. She celebrated each step toward
recovery and cheered those
sharing her journey.
Then, toward the end of March
this year, her husband Andrew
posted on the "Fighting Cancer
with Sara Amento" page:
Prayers poured in and Sarah faced this new development as
she had the initial diagnosis — with confident hope. Sarah
wasn't about to leave her husband and her children so she
searched for an answer. She found a treatment in Austria. The
problem is, it has a hefty price tag.
