rom time to time in our "Message from the Board of Directors," we use the word infrastructure, when discussing certain aspects of our community. What does this word mean? For purposes of this message, it means a lot more than just a foundation or basic framework; it means the total lifestyle of our community. Just for fun, ponder the following: K.Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Hemet is situated on approximately 152 acres of land, about ten acres of which are dedicated to our Lodge and its associated recreational facilities. There are 1106 homes, 208 of these are known as the Legends, 302 are called the Masters, 422 the Invitationals and 174 the Championships. There are nine miles of streets within our borders. There are 39 street lights maintained by the HOA, the remainder divided between SCE and the City of Hemet. The swimming pool has a capacity of some 156,000 gallons. There is approximately 570,000 square feet of space continuously under the care of our landscape contractor. Included are thousands of sprinkler heads, 400 trees and seasonal change out of 100 + flats of color at our entries, Lodge and other locations. Our front gate is staffed from 6 am until 10 pm, with the Roving Patrol on duty 24/7. Our Lodge and most of its recreational facilities are available to you from 7 am to 10 pm about 360 days each year. The Bistro is open from 7 am until 7 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Salon is open from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturdays. Movies are shown in our theater three times daily, seven days a week. Our on-site Euclid management staff is on duty five days a week from 8 am through 5 pm (with Lodge Attendants on duty from 7 am until 10 pm, seven days a week.) To all of this add the contributions of our Social Committee, which arranges first class community wide entertainment events throughout the year. Plus the numerous individual club events and other special activities and you begin to get an idea of our total infrastructure. The operative word here is "begin," because there is more involved, much more. In short, this good life within Four Seasons does not just arrive with the rising sun each day. It is created, orchestrated and brought to fruition through the hard work and dedication of our management team, our contractors and our volunteer residents. You are the beneficiary. Be slow to criticize and swift to show your appreciation. Ponder… then enjoy! Sincerely, and on behalf of your Board of Directors, Tony, Ken, Greg, Ross, Russ & Carey, Hal Townend, President 3 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | July 2014 | | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | July 2014 | 4 Message From the Board of Directors F Four SeaSonS Hemet Board oF directorS: Hal Townend, PresidenT • Tony CrisCenTi, ViCe PresidenT • Ken Pounders, Treasurer GreG roCKVam, seCreTary • ross THomas, direCTor • russ Brown, direCTor • Carey adams, direCTor
