Our next meeting is July 28 at 2 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. New members are always welcome. Our organization has only one rule – NO rules! Come visit us to see what it is all about. Thank you Bonnie Brubaker for planning the luncheon at South Coast Winery. Everyone enjoyed the luncheon. Our June outing was a luncheon at My Mama's and then our artistic side came out painting our ceramics at All Fired Up! Thanks to Barbara and Gerri for sponsoring this outing. Upcoming Events: July 9 – Lunch and Sun at the Carlsbad Inn. Margie Culton is sponsoring this event. Margie passed out flyers at our June event and sign ups were completed at our June 23 meeting. We will have lunch at Norte Mexican Food and Cocktails and then enjoy a relaxing time at the Carlsbad Inn. We have a choice of five entrees, rice and beans, and 12 oz. margarita all for only $13 plus tip and tax. We will carpool from the lodge. Time will be finalized at our June meeting. July 16 - We have a second event this month - Bowling & Pizza sponsored by Carole, Marjean and Peggy on July 16. More info. and restaurant choice to follow. Vintage Voices Join us for Jukebox Saturday Night! It will be on Aug. 16 at 7 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. Come with us as we travel back to high school days at the diner, drinking malts, eating hamburgers and fries, and listening to our favorite songs on the jukebox. Keep the date open and watch the Hemet Herald for more information! We would like to thank everyone who came to our Memorial Day Program, you helped make it a time of reflection and remembrance. From all the wonderful comments we heard you were feeling the way we were. We would like to especially thank Meleny Piotrowski for her very moving trumpet pieces she played, she gave us the feeling of being proud of our country and the soldiers who gave their all for us.
