Our yearly National Night Out event is almost upon us again and we are getting prepared for a really good turnout. This year it will be Tuesday, Aug. 5, starting with a potluck in the Ballroom at 5:30 pm (the sign up sheet to bring hors d'eouvres, entrees and side dishes is in the Lodge). Desserts, coffee and lemonade will be provided for you. Our guest speakers from the local agencies will update us on current events. There will be a Q & A session after and usually it ends around 8 pm. This is always a great evening for socializing and keeping in touch. You may reserve a table for your block by calling Susan Wilson at (951) 845-5192. Please make sure during this season of hot weather that you keep a close check on open garage doors, they can be an attraction for snakes and wildlife also giving an easy entry point to a thief. Keep inside house doors locked. Just because we are gated does not mean we are safe. So many construction workers and visitors to the models every day make us a potential target. Until we are built out this will not change. Thanks to all Block Captains and residents who help to make Four Seasons a safe place to live… "If you see something say something." For anything that is a real concern, contact Beaumont Police at (951) 769-9800; for any emergencies call 911; for any maintenance issue or if you call the police please also report it to Euclid Management at the Lodge so that they are in the loop at (951) 769-6358. Please mark your calendars if you are a Block Captain, we will be holding a meeting just for you on Saturday, Sept. 13, 10 am to 12 noon in the Ballroom. The purpose of this meeting is to get your input, answer any questions you may have, and update our program. We still have some streets that do not have a Block Captain. If someone has not contacted you on your street please let us know so that we can look for coverage. This is important for daily events as well as in an emergency. Our next Neighborhood Watch Meeting will be on Oct. 8 in the Ballroom. ~ Susan Wilson 18 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2014 | COMMUNITy NEwS Change the hair you HAVE… into the hair you WANT!
