| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2014 | 16 Social Committee What a great 4th of July party we had! The overhead lights added such a special touch along with all the other decorations, food and music. The patriotic singing and the Salute to our Veterans was also a highlight of a wonderful evening. Margie and Connie brought it all together but they don't want to take all the credits. They want to thank the whole team: Mike, Earl, Bill, Carolyn, Betty, Sharon, Ann, John, Russ, Karen, Royce, Donna, Carol, Roxie, Gitana, Bob, Dena, Syd, and all the spouses and others that weren't mentioned above. If our sales for Hotel California are any indication, there is a lot of excitement for that event on August 3rd. Tickets were sold out on the second day and a few more tables were added and were filled quickly. Janice Depew arranges all of these special events and she has it all under control. Dinner is not served but snack plates can be purchased from the Bistro. The Tribute Band doesn't start playing until 7 but our own Four Seasons Guitar Club will entertain us earlier with their talents on the guitars and other instruments including their voices. Plans for the Pool Party are going well. Tickets will go on sale Aug. 4 for the Sept. 6 event. Like last year's event, we will sell out quickly and it will be a fun-filled evening. On Sept. 27 we have a new and special event to offer our residents. We will have a Dinner Theater with our Four Seasons Players and Vintage Voices performing. A special dinner will be provided along with the entertainment. Be sure and mark your calendars for this event. Since August and September are so busy, our Activites Director Louise has not scheduled any Concerts on the Plaza for these months. These fun events will resume in eary October. And don't forget to save the date for our Halloween and New Year's Eve parties! Many residents and families enjoyed the 4th of July festivities
