Out & About
The purpose of this column is to offer and share what other Four Season residents have discovered as their "special gems" here
in Hemet or in surrounding areas. Here are a few:
Restaurants
Golden Ginger, 268 East Stetson Ave.,
Hemet, (951) 652-2266: This might be
one of the best Chinese restaurants in
the Hemet area. The food is sensational
and made with fresh ingredients. Great
service, friendly environment plus af-
fordable prices. Offer both luncheon and
dinner specials. Go and enjoy! Open 7
days a week, Sun.-Thurs., 11 am- 9:30
pm and Fri.-Sat., 11 am-10 pm. Dine in
or take out and they offer free delivery to
Hemet residents.
Things to Do
Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve
Murrieta, 39400 Clinton Keith Rd.,
Murrieta, (951) 677-6951: This is a hidden
gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into
the history and ecosystems of the area.
Great place to get a sense of the changing
California landscape and seasons. The trails
are well marked and range in length from
under a mile to an 8-10 mile loop. There
are historical landmarks including adobe
buildings. It's peaceful and a great place to
take photos! The Reserve trails are open
daily from sunrise until sunset. Call for
additional information.
