Wow! The members of the Billiards for Fun Group are sure
stepping up their games! Now that we have met our two-year
anniversary, it's been interesting to see how many members
who began with us, and some that have joined over the two-
year period, are improving their strategies and shooting
precision at a very rapid pace! (Actually, they probably haven't
even noticed this fact, since they are usually so busy simply
laughing and having a great time!)
On June 10, Pete and Eileen Antoine hosted our bi-monthly
potluck. This event is usually attended by most of the
members, and since their spouses are also invited, the spouses
stay to watch the play afterward as well. There's always
amazing food, and even though no food assignments are ever
given, the members always seem to bring something to share
that balances out the fare.
If you are interested in being part of a really fun group of
men and women who play billiards for fun and friendship,
please consider joining us every Tuesday from 1 to 3 pm in the
Billiards Room. If that doesn't work for you, there is a practice
session on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm with many
of the same members of the group who want to fine-tune
their already exceptional skills! C'mon out and join this great
