COMMUNITy NEWS | FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2014 17 A number of facilities issues were covered at our September meeting including paddle tennis machine storage, fountain project, poolside and court shades, installation of yield signs on roadway, Wi-Fi installation, key lock installation for eastside gate, landscape architect RFP, theater upgrades, parking lot numbering and striping, Springdale painting project, storage container for AC equipment, venting of kitchen water heater closet, Lodge and community bench replacement/repair, and solar heating application for pools. As noted, the facilities side of the committee is numerous and ongoing. Without the continued work of Renee Watkins, Facilities Coordinator, the numerous projects listed would not get done in an orderly fashion. With guidance from Jeri Mupo, General Manager, and Eric Zarr, Assistant General Manager, these projects would not be possible. The community should commend these often unsung Eucild Management personnel for their service. On the safety side of the committee, there has been reported, numerous times, the firing of an automatic weapon(s) south of the property line of Four Seasons at Beaumont. The shooting area has been examined by the Beaumont Police Department. To date there have been four sites located where weapons have been heavily fired. Three of these areas are located within the County of Riverside and enforcement jurisdiction is the responsibility of the Sheriff's Office. These was one site located within the Beaumont city limits, therefore enforcement jurisdiction is the responsibility of the Beaumont Police. The shoot areas and officer safety issues have been shared between the police department and the sheriff's office. We meet next at the Lodge on Oct. 7, at 9 am. ~ Dennis Gray Safety & Facilities In August, we welcomed our newest member, Jill Anderson. The New Homeowner Dessert Meet and Greet was attended by about 50 new owners. Everyone had a good time. Kitchen repairs and modifications are progressing on schedule. The door to the freezer is in the process of being fixed due to water from the freezer to the refrigerator, which caused the door to split. The next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 11 am, in the Lodge Conference Room. All homeowners are invited to attend. ~ William Taylor Bistro Committee
