The Splash Pool Party was fun! fun! fun! It was so nice to
be outside on a pleasant evening enjoying our beautiful pool
with so many of our Four Season friends. Francisco prepared
some delicious food and we were able to graze all evening. The
music kept the party moving and lots of people dancing. We
all had fun playing the games and there were prizes awarded
for the winners. Everyone was sorry when the party was over.
Our thanks to Linda Adkins and her hard working volunteers
(it really is a party that takes a lot of work) and to Janet and
Jim at our front desk who helped rearrange the pool area so we
would all have an open area for our party.
The Dinner Theater was sold out in a few hours on Monday
morning. Everyone is excited about it. It's going to be a
wonderful evening enjoying good food, the Four Season Players
and the Vintage Voices.
The Halloween Party tickets go on sale Tues., Sept. 30.
Sharon Sims and her committee have some creative and clever
plans so get your costumes or glad rags ready and lets all have
fun on Halloween.
Our last event for 2014 will be a fabulous New Year's Eve party.
Linda Gentile and her committee have planned an evening
with great food, music and dancing, entertainment and 2 times
to celebrate the New Year(one for those that don't want to stay
up until midnight). New Year's Eve is always a special evening
and Linda and her team of volunteers will see to it that we have
a beautiful evening.
Thank you… My sincere and heartfelt thanks go out to all who have
prayed for us over the years, all who attended Gordon's services, those who have
sent cards, brought food, sent flowers, and called with their condolences. I am
overwhelmed by your kindness, love and support. Thank you to the Sunshine
team — you did an amazing job. Thanks to Francisco and his staff — you rose
to the occasion. Thank you to the front desk staff for all your help. May God Bless
each and every one of you (as he has us) through you. ~ John Baranek
