6 OUR YUCAIPA | OCTOBER 2014
Thousands of families from all over So Cal will head to Yucaipa to enjoy
the Pumpkin Patch on Live Oak Canyon, open now through Nov. 2, seven
days a week. In addition to the U-Pick pumpkin fields, family fun zone, gift
shop, petting zoo, pony rides, and aviary, some attractions added this year
include a 300' zip line, archery challenge, and duck pond game.
The gift shop has decorations and gifts for Halloween and fall, including
hand-blown glass pumpkins, western decor, everyday garden, a wide
selection of decorative owls and a colorful array of Dia de Los Muertos
items. There is a collection of jams, jellies, soups, dips, chili mixes, and
breads as well. They have expanded their collection of special Christmas
decorations, and are now offering them during the fall.
Entertainment each weekend features live music, dancers, comedy acts,
magicians, jugglers, western gunfighters and more.
The 2014 Corn Maze is fresh air entertainment at its best. The labyrinth of
corn stalks is a farm challenge that you must experience. At night, the corn
maze comes alive with thousands of colored kaleidoscope, laser and strobe
lights — no spooks, just fun. Every night starting Oct. 3, the Pumpkin Patch
will stay open until 9 pm.
It's Pumpkin
