sOCIal CluBs & gROups | sun lakes lIfestyles | nOVeMBeR 2014 | 17 On the second evening in November we will be kicking off the start of our holiday season with our traditional celebration which features an American Buffet of Thanksgiving favorites. There will be a carving station with carved turkey breast, dressing, gravy, sweet potatoes with brown sugar, mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, cranberry sauce with mandarin oranges and walnuts, a preset dinner salad with ranch and Italian dressings, warm dinner rolls with butter, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. Doors open at 5:30 pm, music by Skyline Express starts at 6 pm and buffet by table call starts at 6:30 pm. You can sign up for this special evening on the first Thursday in November at 3 pm in the North Clubhouse. Cost is $22 for members and $25 for a non-resident guest. You may pay your 2015 membership dues of $25 this month, and anyone wanting to join the club for 2015 can do so this month and be entitled to attend our December celebration as a bonus month. International Culture Club After our successful September show, plans are now being made for 2015 with new dances and costumes for our next show. Our dancers are available for performances by contacting the following Coordinators: Director/Chinese – Joan Lau 769-3978; Flamenco - Nora Huffman 845-8333; Folkloric – Sussy Arzubiaga 797-3258; and Hawaiian – Diane Avina/Sarah Thornberry 769- 0286/769-1164. International Dancers Sun Lakes own crooner, Ray Rendon, entertained the 80s with several Sinatra and Dean Martin songs, adding a special Gene Kelly "Singing In The Rain."
