It was fun and had a nice response. We have decided on a new project for the coming year — making children's blankets for the Highway Patrol in Beaumont. The officers carry them in their cars and give them to children involved in accidents, etc. when they are in the temporary care of the officer. The blankets are a gift and theirs to keep. The CHP needs these mostly for the winter months, but they are always welcome. This will probably be an ongoing project along with any other that we decide we can manage. As always we meet in the Craft Room every Tuesday from 10 to about 11:30 am. ~ Dorothy Payne We are starting Christmas projects, as you can see in the photo to the right.
