Ping Pong Club
There is always something happening in your ping pong
club. Recently, Alfred Blair joined our club and became our
newest member. He has been a great addition and has made our
playtime and competition a lot more fun. During the month of
September, two of our players ventured down to the San Diego
Senior Games and competed in their table tennis tournament.
Those players, Barry Pope and Suchart Sudhamma both came
home with medals. Playing in different divisions, Barry won a
2nd place medal and Suchart also won a second place medal.
Last month we had four of our players, Rony Tordesillas, Barry
Pope, Lian Lee, Gil Apodaca, and Niles Sundstrom compete in
the Oldlympics in Hemet. Overall, we did very well, and there
will be a report on that tournament next month.
Ping pong is a great activity for everyone in our community
and we welcome everyone, from beginners to Olympic
champions, to join us Monday - Friday at 10:30 am and
