Now that the weather is cooling
down and the days are getting shorter,
in November we will change our
playing times to Tuesday at 9:30 am
and Wednesday at 3 pm. For those of
you who have never played, please join
us. Skill is not a prerequisite, and it is a
lot of fun. If you have questions please

Horseshoes for Fun
If you are not a member of the Horseshoe Club, you ought to be.
Long time members' skill levels have improved along with their wit
and humor, which makes for a lot of fun and stiff competition each
week. Our October social event produced our largest member
and spouses turn out to date. Yes, 19 of us had dinner at the
Bistro and then met at Dave and Suzanne Roldan's home for
dessert, consisting of apple and pumpkin pie with all the
trimmings — just the perfect thing to get us all in the
mood for the fall and upcoming holidays. The Roldan's
have a most beautiful and comfortable home both
inside and out. Thank you Dave and Suzanne.
So, if you've ever thrown
horseshoes or just want to try
something new, you don't want
to miss this! We've changed our
starting time to 9 am Wednesday mornings.
