13 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | November 2014 | Facilities Committee The Southern California Gas Company has a current rebate program that will provide 100% of the cost to construct solar heating for our community pool. The Facilities Committee recommended this project for the board's consideration and approval. Upon approval from the board, the request was sent to the Gas Company. We are pleased to report that Southern California Gas Company approved our request and is going to fund the total cost of installing a solar system ($87,948) to heat the pool at Four Seasons Hemet. This project is forecast to reduce our current pool heating costs by several thousand dollars each month. Most senior associations cannot afford the luxury of enjoying their pool during the winter season. Please continue to enjoy your pool knowing that the Facilities Committee and association board members are always looking for ways to reduce our expenses while improving the quality of our lives and facilities at Four Seasons Hemet. The painting of the Lodge, pool building, spa building and both guard buildings are on schedule. The Game Room tables re-finishing is under way. Street slurry sealing and re-striping has been scheduled for the week of Nov. 3. Homeowners in those areas affected will be notified. The parking lots at the Lodge will be included in this project. The exhaust fan for the Arts and Craft Room is on schedule to be installed. The tennis courts and pickleball courts will have been resurfaced by the time you read this. There are many other projects in the works. The Facilities Committee has 13 members who are working a lot of hours and their assignment is to advise your elected board of directors on what needs to be done to keep the place we live in the best shape at the most economical amount.
