15 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | November 2014 | Social Committee It was a "first" for the Social Committee as we teamed up with Four Seasons Players and Vintage Voices for the Gala Musical Dinner Theater on Sept. 27 in our Ballroom. The production was written and directed by Noreen Scott with assistant director Emilie Ortega The musical arrangement of Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, Meet Me in St. Louis, and Phantom of the Opera were performed with perfection by Four Seasons residents...Elvis was also in the house. An "Enchanted Evening" was also another "first" for the Social Committee, as this year under the direction of Sharon Sims and her committee, Halloween was kicked up to a new level. Highway 91 provided the music for the evening and Francisco and his staff served another gourmet meal. One of the highlights of the evening was the array of costumes by our creative residents. Our social calendar for 2014 will come to a close on Dec. 31 with our annual New Years Eve celebration, "A Starry Night." Under the direction of Linda Gentile and her committee we will celebrate the chiming of the clock at 9 pm and again at midnight. The evening will include a gourmet meal, the Bell Pepper Band, a photo booth for all of those "dress up" photos, and special entertainment by "Play With Your Food." Be sure to get your tickets as you will not want to miss this special evening.
